Atlético de Kolkata began their 2016 Hero Indian Super League campaign with a 2-2 draw against reigning champions Chennaiyin FC at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in Kolkata on Sunday evening. The hosts took the lead in the 59th minute through Sameehg Doutie before being pegged back by two quick goals from Jayesh Rane and Hans Mulder. An Iain Hume spot-kick four minutes from full-time, however, saw the game end in a 2-2 draw as both sides picked up a point.
