DELHI DYNAMOS THRASHES MUMBAI IN SECOND HALF TO AN EXCITING DRAW




MATCH DESCRIPTION

                           As Delhi came out playing an thrilling 3-3 draw against Mumbai in Jawaharlal stadium in new delhi around 15,000 fans. Krisztian Vadocz scored in the first half 2-0 for Mumbai at half-time. Richard Gadze  scored one goal at 6 minute after the first half then Sony Norde scored another goal for the Mumbai to make it a 2 goal lead fir the Mumbai team nearly at 69th minute.

Then a goal from  Badara Badji in the last quarter of the game along with a penalty from Marcelinho ensured and turned out to be great game  changing moment  which squared the game for 3-3. And becomes the highest scoring game till date.

Delhi scored the first goal of the match in the ninth minute by David Addy, where he tried that shot from a long distance. Florent Malouda picked up the ball into mumbai’s side then he shot it wider of the target.

Then Mumbai second chance came in the sixteenth minute. Anwar Ali rose highest in box got his header inside the target but it was easily cleared by Soram Poirei .Gadze played Marcelino on the goal after Sena Ralte applied pressure on the attacker from getting his shot away from goal.

Leo Costa gave a beautiful ball diagonal across in the 26th minute to Ralte on goal. Marauding shot on goal from an angle but Poirei had his near post covered to collect it with ease. Ali had an header on goal for Mumbai but this time he failed to test the keper cause the ball went over the crossbar.

The arrival took the lead in 33rd minute thanks to the defense  from great Costa that put Vadocz in 1 vs 1 situation with poirei. This coasta added a major part to this goal and made it 1-0 for Mumbai.

Mumbai has increased to another in their seventh minute before half time  after Norde free kick rattled the crossbar but was safe in the hands of Vadocz. A good control and a composed state over the ball has made this as a successful header and made it a2-0 lead.

Delhi  emerged at the second half and were given a 6 min into the second half. Ibrahima Niasse pass forward was given to Malouda to put Marcelinho in goal. The attacker gave it to Gadze, who made to reduce the deflect and make it 2-1.

Mumbai scored another to keep in the pressure in 69th minute .Norde scored this goal with his weaker foot and made it 3-1 for Mumbai which was achieved by a great one two pass by cafu.

Badji the sub from bench came in and made them to feel his presence by taking the attack to the opposition when he scored immediately a goal and made 3-2 with 14 min remaining for play.

Then at the 82nd minute after Volpato conceded a costly penalty for the foul caused to Gadze. Then the penalty kick was taken by Marcelinho  this last big chance for his side to make the best out of it .the chance came to Mumbai when the ball hit the bars before when Matias ran toward the defense and made it possible.
